Kelly Preston Reveals 'Awkward' Tom Cruise Sex Scene

Kelly Preston is the latest A-list Tom Cruise pal to leap to the sofa-surfer’s defense over his excitable Oprah appearance.

First though John Travolta’s missus dishes on what is was like filming a sex scene with the Mission Impossible star in the 1996 movie Jerry Maguire.

She tells Extra in an interview to air on Friday, "There's always awkwardness!...But he's a pro. I'm a pro. It was a completely closed set, very well written, shot fast."

As for nearly scaring Oprah to death with his infamous couch jumping she says of Tom, "To be honest, I felt sad that I live in a society where we can't show pure joy if you're excited.

"He's passionate, so he showed some unbridled emotion. Good for him. It was just spun out of control."
