Rosie O'Donnell: I Don't Blame Miley Cyrus

The queen of controversy, Rosie O’Donnell defended Miley Cyrus’ on the Today show over the  “sexually provocative” Vanity Fair cover in which the Hannah Montana star bares her back while holding a bedsheet across her chest.

Speaking to hosts Hoda Kotb and Kathie Lee, she said: “ I think the double standard is very hypocritical. We are a country  that sells sex to kids on a daily basis. Don’t blame the little girl. If you saw her on the beach, she’d be more nude than she was in that photo.”

Outspoken Rosie who appeared on the Today show to promote her new book Crafty U went on to defend acclaimed photographer Annie Leibovitz who took the photo saying “she is a genius on the level of Mozart in photography.”

The outburst adds to a long list of  controversial statements made by the former The View host.
