Angelina Joile To Give Birth In French Home

Star flies in medical team...

Angelina Jolie has reportedly flown a team of medics to her French home to prepare for a home birth.

The actress is expecting her second biological child with partner Brad Pitt next month, and wants to give birth at her luxury property on the French Riveria.

Jolie has suffered a series of health worries throughout her pregnancy, and the team of medics will ensure every precaution is taken when the time comes.

"She loves the idea of a home birth,” a source tells the Sunday Mirror.

  • I hope she knows that the best medical professionals she could hire are midwives, and that being in France she already has access to those. Why fly in surgeons and obstetric nurses for a BIRTH?? Home birth is as safe as life gets.

  • If they are so influential, they should be setting an example for pregnant women everywhere. Plan a homebirth with a midwife, the expert in normal pregnancy, labour, birth and postnatal period. www.homebirth.net.au

  • I have to completely agree, SK. Although I am happy she is bringing home birth into the public arena at all. We could all talk about celebs having C sections in full make up, couldn't we? Let's not.

  • Maybe since she's had complications throughout her pregnancy she would like the same team of people who have been caring for her and are aware of her situation rather than a fresh face
