Boyzone could be forced to delay their forthcoming reunion tour after bandmember Keith Duffy fell ill.
The boyband is due to kick off a series of live dates across the U.K. later this month, with the tour scheduled to begin in Belfast, Northern Ireland on 25 May.
But the shows could now be under threat after Duffy was struck down with blood poisoning, a potentially fatal condition which kills between 30 and 50 per cent of those affected.
The 33-year old singer is reported to have contracted the illness after getting a new tattoo. He later collapsed and was rushed to hospital in his native Dublin.
He is currently being treated for severely swollen arms and legs, which bandmate Shane Lynch is referring to as: "Something like the Elephant Man."
