Pete Doherty may have a temporary home in jail for the next few months at least, but when he leaves prison he may find himself homeless.
The Babyshambles singer has been evicted from his nine-bedroom mansion after his landlord paid a surprise visit and found the place covered in blood.
To add to the misery, Doherty’s nine abandoned cats have been left to run riot, causing an ungodly stench in the place.
A source tells the Mirror: "Pete is homeless, broke and owes thousands to dealers. He destroyed the place by scribbling on the walls, the floor, anywhere he felt like it.
"The beautiful heavy curtains were ripped down and the cats are just running around abandoned. It's a really pathetic state of affairs..
"No one in their right mind is going to rent him a property after what he did."
In addition to Doherty’s eviction, out-of-pocket drug dealers have reportedly been to the Wiltshire mansion, helping themselves to Petey’s belongings while he’s been in the slammer, trying to make back some of the money he owes them.
