Paul McCartney Wants Heather Mills To Join Him On Tour

So he can see Beatrice...

Sunday 20th Apr 2008

Sir Paul McCartney wants Heather Mills to join him on tour so he can see their daughter whilst he jets round the world.

The former Beatle is preparing for a massive 14 months on the road, and believes the only way he will keep in contact with Beatrice during that time will be if he arranges with Heather to take the four-year-old to him.

A source explains to the News Of The World, “Paul is desperate to keep Bea close by him. If he just heads off round the world he will get upset at not seeing her.

"He realises he has to do some kind of deal with Heather, and to keep disruption to a minimum he has come up with this idea. He feels that letting Heather fly to him where they are touring could be the best way."

But the source warns, "Many of those close to him are not sure this plan will work. Heather is so unpredictable that anything could happen."

Will they be flying First Class though?

  • Maybe Paul will let Mills go out on stage as well - so that the audience can boo her.

  • I was happy that Paul McCartney is thinking of Bea, and not his personal fame. He is trying like mad to make it a "Family Tour," as he did with Linda-and Heather can enjoy the tour!

  • I find it truly admirable that Paul wants to spend as much time with Bea while on the road, but that could be disasterous considering all the drama and demands Heather makes everywhere she goes. I hope Paul can find a solution for Bea's sake, no little girl should be without her daddy for such a long time, his fans would understand.

  • There has to be a better way than this. Get ready for your name in papers in ways not anticipated. Also prepare to shell out more money. This worked w/Linda because she WANTED it to work as much as he did. Heathers' thoughts-first, last, always ' "What's in it for me?" ' Would have this harpy as a last resort not first choice.

  • 14 MONTHS? MONTHS? What's wrong with this picture? It's not like he needs the MONEY! I guess he loves to perform; in fact, he seems to be quite pathological about it. I can't help but think Paul puts himself on a treadmill that he can't embark from. 14 months? That means he'll be close to 67 when the tour ends. Part of me wonders if he's insecure, like if he doesn't perform much he's afraid he won't be a star anymore. Slow down a little, Paul; ya ain't a kid anymore...
