Peaches Geldof has made headline news after walking off with a £500 dress without paying for it.
Sir Bob Geldof's socialite daughter claimed a “simple misunderstanding” was to blame for the incident at London’s Victim store on Thrusday, although the shop’s manager disagreed.
Nazinna Douglas tells the Mirror, “She can get everything she wants for free. To her taking a dress means nothing but it's not something we take lightly. This is our livelihood. It's just not fair."
Sources close to Peaches claim she took the dress in a rush whilst buying other items from the store, and returned to the shop to settle up after being altered to her error.
A spokesperson for Peaches' company Insanity Talent Management hit back, saying: "The claim is totally incorrect.
"Peaches has a receipt for the supposedly stolen dress. It was an honest mistake at the time and she went back to the store having been told the dress was missing. She most definitely has not been shoplifting and nothing has been reported to the police."
