As Victoria Beckham rang in her 34th year in the company of new BFFs Eva Longoria and Kate Beckinsale, there was one noticeable absence in the form of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes.

TomKat's no-show at Victoria’s birthday meal has fueled rumours that relations have cooled between the two couples.

Tom and Katie appeared to welcome the Beckhams with open arms upon their high-profile arrival in Los Angeles last year.

But the former pals haven't been pictured in the same vacinity for months.

A recent report alleged that Tom is concerned that super-skinny Posh is bad for his wife’s health.

Whatever the reason behind the split, Victoria is said to be missing her girly shopping trips with Katie.

A source told Closer magazine: "They aren't in contact like they used to be and Posh is missing their friendship.

"Victoria's not close to the other mums at the boys LA school or the other wives of the LA Galaxy players."

To make matters worse, Tom and Katie's daughter, Suri, is reportedly set to celebrate her second birthday today with the kind of A-list bash that Posh could only dream of.
