'Jessica Simpson's Hard Partying Led To Hospitalisation'

Jessica Simpson's recent hospital stay was the end result of months of heavy drinking, according to a U.S. report.

Reps for the singer said she was being treated for a "kidney infection" during her four-day stay at L.A.’s Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in March.

However, sources tell Star magazine that Jessica’s health problems were in fact "brought on by drinking an obscene amount of alcohol."

"She was treated for a kidney infection, a bladder infection and a urinary tract infection," adds the insider.

Jessica also allegedly asked doctors to perform a pregnancy test

"She was a nervous wreck," continues the source. "She was three weeks late and convinced she was pregnant. She was feeling really weak and really scared. She was unraveling."

The report claims Jessica's partying has spiraled out of control since she hooked up with Dallas Cowboys hunk Tony Romo in November.
