The Ashlee Simpson pregnancy buzz refuses to die down, despite denials from both the singer and her fiance, Pete Wentz.

Insiders maintain that Jessica’s li’l sis is not only expecting a child, but is also making preparations for her wedding next month at a private residence in Southern California.

Wentz called the initial pregnancy reports a "witch hunt" but Ashlee failed to deny the rumours during recent MTV interview, saying only, "Some things you want to keep personal."

The happy couple (and parents-to-be?) will exchange vows in May at a friend's house in La Jolla, north of San Diego, a source close to the Simpson clan tells People.
