Newly-engaged Ashlee Simpson appeaered on MTV yesterday, but refused to address the rumours that she is expecting a baby with her fiancé Pete Wentz.
Having announced their engagement last week, the couple have been dogged down by allegations that the sister of Jessica Simpson is knocked up.
The Fall Out Boy bassist has denied his bride-to-be is carrying a little emo baby, but when Ashlee was asked on TRL, she stated that if all the rumours about her were true, she "would have had a baby by now."
Despite swerving away from baby talk, the Little Miss Obsessive singer did however show off her new diamond engagement ring.
