Britney Spears was reapplying her make up behind the wheel of her Mercedes just before she caused a three-car pile up, it’s claimed.

The dopey singer was driving on the101 Freeway in California on Saturday night when her car hit a Nissan in front, which in turn ploughed into another vehicle.

The Nissan’s driver tells TMZ that, shortly before the bump, Britney was touching up her make up whilst driving.

The man says he can't be sure whether she was still troweling on the slap at the time of the crash.

He adds that he received an apology from the singer’s bodyguard – but not from Brit herself.

No injuries were reported, however the Nissan driver claims he woke up with a sore back the next day and is consulting a chiropractor.

Could it be more legal woes for Brit?

Well, as much as I like Britney, she still cannot seem to drive properly and she is lucky she didn't end up killing herself or the other drivers, I find for now, she should give up driving all together and leave someone else do the driving who is more responsible and for the safety of everyone in traffic.

Idont agree with britneys ways of doing things, but i dont think half of it would happen if she didnt have the paparazzi trying to get photos of her slipping up. People say shes such a bad mother, and people who read all this gossip and begin agreeing with what these false facts say, are just stuck up suckers. Britney isnt a bad person. Never ONCE have i read qanything about britney spears that was positive. So you expect everyone to beleive that their is nothing at all good about her.
