Angelina Jolie Praised By Estranged Father

Angelina Jolie’s dad Jon Voight has desperately tried to get back into his daughter’s good books by lavishing her with praise at his new film premiere.

Jolie has cut out the 69-year-old from her life for much of the last decade, despite a brief reconciliation - but Voight had nothing but praise for his daughter when he spoke at the Hollywood premiere of ‘Forgetting Sarah Marshall’ on Thursday.

He said of Jolie‘s recent pregnancy, “I’m very excited, and I’m sending my love to the family.

“They’re getting to be a bigger family - it’s great! It’s nice to see people embracing family and loving that whole process.”

“People who raise children properly are heroes to me because it takes a lot of work. And when they do it with joy and love, there’s nothing more beautiful.”
