Country star Carrie Underwood has revealed boyfriend Chase Crawford dumped her via text message.

However, the singer insists she has no hard feelings towards the Gossip Girl star, despite the way he broke up with her.

She says: "It was completely mutual. We're both fine. We broke up over text so it's like 'Peace out.'

"It just didn't work. We both knew it didn't work and no hard feelings at all whatsoever... It's no big deal."

Underwood, who has previously dated Jessica Simpson's new man Tony Romo, admits that going out with another celebrity isn't always fun.

She adds: "It's difficult while you're dating because people always make a lot bigger deal of things than they actually are."
