Naomi Campbell's Airport Tantrum Lands Her A Caution

No further legal action will be taken claim reports...

Monday 07th Apr 2008

Naomi Campbell will not face any charges following her alleged assault of a British police officer last week, and will instead escape with a formal caution.

The fiery supermodel was arrested at London’s Heathrow airport on Thursday after a mix-up with luggage resulted in her throwing a major tantrum on board a flight bound for Los Angeles.

Currently free on bail, Campbell risked being charged with an aggravated felony by police, after reportedly spitting at an officer.

Legal experts also predicted the charge could have resulted in a U.S. visa ban, stopping her from modelling in the States.

But police are reportedly to looking to drop charges against the catwalk diva if she accepts a caution.

A police source tells News Of The World: "The Crown Prosecution Service will be consulted, but the expected outcome is a caution.

Do you think Naomi is being let off too lightly? Be sure to leave your comments below.

  • Is it because I is Black? No, it's because you're a foul-mouthed, self-important, over-bearing 'celeb'. And yet another celeb falls foul of uk law and gets away with it, why? If any of us had done it we would be facing the full majesty of the law, NOT getting the "if we just tell you off do you promise not to do it again?" routine!!! The powers that be in this country are hypocritical to the n'th degree, and I'm sick of it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Perhaps those who have repeatedly allowed Campbell off lightly after she's assaulted another human being, be it her personal assistant or a policeman at Heathrow, will have cause to regret their decisions after she finally kills someone. Letting her off with a caution/warning has only fueled her violent rages. Too bad the cops in England don't carry guns.
