Dione Warwick: Whitney Houston Is Back!

Dionne Warwick has spoken out in support for her niece Whitney Houston as she faces new allegations from her ex-husband Bobby Brown.

Speaking before her performamce at Muhammad Ali's Celebrity Fight Night XIV on Friday night, Warwick said Houston is “overcoming” her recent problems and working again.

She said, “Whitney Houston is back! I'm thrilled that she's in the studio and working on her new album.

“No doubt she's overcoming everything that has been put in front of her even this week."

Her old mentor, record company boss Clive Davis, also added that Houston is focusing on relaunching her pop career, not Brown’s claims Whitney was responsible for his own descent into drug addiction.

"I'm sure that this week has been traumatic but she's committed and looking forward to her new life," Davis tells People magazine.
