Beyonce And Jay-Z Marry In 'Really Private' Ceremony

Beyonce Knowles finally married rapper Jay-Z on yesterday, according to reports.

The pair wed in a “really private” ceremony, before holding a “lavish party” at Jay-Z’s New York apartment.

A friend told People.com last night, “It happened earlier this evening. Jay wanted it to be a really private affair – close friends and family."

Knowles’ family were joined by her former Destiny’s Child bandmates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, with Hollywood star Gwyneth Paltrow also in attendence.

The friend reports the couple’s friend Cassidy, who apparently DJed at the party, let the news slip earlier this week.

They add, “Cassidy mentioned a week ago that he was really excited for the Jay Z and Beyoncé's wedding party to happen.”
