Kevin Federline has denied rumours that he is to whisk his ex-wife Britney Spears away on a secret Hawaiian holiday to try and salvage their broken relationship.

The rapper has been battling fallen pop princess Britney in a bitter divorce and custody battle since splitting up in 2006.

However, Star magazine claims they are set for a reconciliation after spending the Easter weekend together.

A source told the magazine: "Kevin wants to take Britney away to see if there is anything to salvage between them. When he suggested it to her, she told him she was ready to go anytime he was."

According to TheCelebrityTruth, a representative for the wannabe rapper/dancer states the reports are "not true".
