As more details of Naomi Campbell’s vicious airport assault emerge, her spokesperson is playing down her arrest by questioning Heathrow’s new terminal for losing the supermodel’s luggage.
Despite opening last week, the London airport’s troublesome Terminal 5 has been unable to manage passenger’s baggage, with 20,000 pieces of luggage missing - the supermodel’s bag being just one of them.
Having been released on bail earlier this morning, Naomi’s press agent Celena Aponte gave a statement outside the police station at 1am.
She said: “She arrived in plenty of time at Heathrow Terminal 5 with two bags, checked them in, and told they were take the flight.
“Once on the flight, she was told one bag could not be found and was missing.
“British Airways decided to resolve this by insisting she leave the flight, calling the police, and forcibly ejected her from the flight.
“So far as we are aware, BA has still failed to offer any explanation as to why her bag went missing at Terminal 5.”
When asked about Naomi's behaviour, she said: “I can not comment further.”
The catwalk diva was meant to fly to Los Angeles to attend a memorial service, but was removed from the British Airways flight in handcuffs after allegedly spitting at cop, and laying into him with punches.
A witness who saw her tantrum in the first-class lounge told The Sun: “She was screaming, ‘Get off, get off, don’t touch me — leave me alone’.”
