George Clooney Denies Brangelina Godfather Role

George Clooney has denied rumours that he is to become godfather to Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s unborn offspring, claiming he was joking.

The good pal of Hollywood power couple told paparazzi earlier this week that he had been asked to take on the privileged role.

However, the Michael Clayton actor’s representative Stan Rosenfield shrugged off the allegations, insisting that Clooney was playing up to gossip mongers.

Rosenfield tells WENN: "He was just having a joke."

Earlier this month, Clooney was rumoured to become the godfather of pregnant star Nicole Kidman’s unborn child.
