Kelly Lynch has spoken out in support of her her Road House co-star Patrick Swayze, as he battles pancreatic cancer.

The actress says that the Dirty Dancing will overcome his ordeal thanks to his strength and positive attitude.

"If anyone can get through this, it's him," Kelly told People at the New York premiere of Rolling Stones concert film Shine a Light.

She adds that Patrick is "the most determined, positive, forward-thinking person I've ever met."

"I say my prayers for him but I have a lot of hope that he'll get through this."

It's believed Patrick is currently undergoing chemotherapy and drug treatment for the potentially deadly disease at Stanford University Medical Center.
