Sir Paul McCartney is putting his divorce battle with Heather Mills firmly behind him with a romantic getaway to Antigua with heiress Nancy Shevell.

Since they arrived at their £6,000-a-night villa in a private Jumby Bay resort, the loved-up couple have shocked onlookers with their public displays of affection.

One eyewitness tells The Mirror: “Everyone could see they only had eyes for each other. They seemed so happy and relaxed — like they’d been together years.”

Another adds: “Paul looks so happy he seems years younger.”
