Desperate Housewives star Nicolette Sheridan is reportedly set to have a shocking tell-all book released about her by a bitter ex-boyfriend.

Nicklas Soderblom was ditched by Sheridan in 2005 when she started dating singer Michael Bolton.

The personal trainer has since teamed up with journalist Bonnie Robinson and is in the process of trying to find to a publisher for the sordid book entitled Not A Desperate Houseman.

The tell-all contains “many many insights” about “jealousies, fights, etc” both in the actresses personal and professional life, reports the New York Post.

Robinson describes Soderblom as "a man who fell passionately in love with a self-centered celebrity" and that Sheridan was "a stressed out middle-aged woman in Hollywood who sees Desperate Housewives as her last big break".

She adds that the actress is "barely interested in sex; except as a means of manipulation to get what she wants. In fact, she couldn't be more opposite in real life than the sexy Edie Britt she portrays on Desperate Housewives."
