Patrick Swayze has blasted the attempts of an Arizona family for illegally using the actor’s likeness in a campaign urging medical bosses to make radical cancer treatments available in the U.S.
The Loughmans from Indianapolis launched their online assault last week to aid one of their family members, Connie Loughman.
Connie has also been diagnosed with the same deadly pancreatic cancer as the Ghost star and has used his name to promote her cause.
But Swayze's spokesperson is angry the star has been directly linked to the campaign without the Loughmans seeking his consent, according to TheCelebrityTruth.
The representative says: "Patrick is not aware of this website, and he has no association with it or the medication it advertises.
"He is not affiliated with the woman from the site; Patrick had no knowledge of her."
