Katie Holmes close friendship with Victoria Beckham is reportedly all over, after the pair engaged in a style war.
Holmes and Posh Spice had grown close after Beckham relocated to Los Angeles, but Victoria’s appearance on the new issue of Vogue has apparently made the actress madly jealous.
A source tells Now Magazine, “She's envious that Victoria scored the more prestigious magazine. Katie feels that she deserved it more.”
However, this latest episode was apparently just a disagreement waiting to happen after Holmes had taken exception to Victoria’s recent body-art advice.
“When Victoria advised her to get some tattoos like hers, Katie hit the roof, saying, ‘Tattoos are trashy. I wouldn't be caught dead with one,’” according to the source.
But Posh wasn’t having any of this, slamming back, “'Victoria said, ‘How dare she attack my tattoos? I know more about fashion than she'll ever know. I have my own line!
“I've told her what to wear and what not to – she used to dress like a schoolgirl. Then she even tried to copy my hair. Now she doesn't think she needs me.’”
How dare she!
