Animal rights campaigners PETA have offered to pay Aretha Franklin’s back taxes worth $19,000 in return for the soul queen’s promise to stop wearing fur.
The R-E-S-P-E-C-T singer is reportedly facing forclosure on her Michigan home because she has not paid taxes worth almost 20 grand.
As a result, charity group PETA have offered to give her the cash, but only if fur-loving Aretha pledges to ditch wearing dead animals.
