Leona Lewis is considering potentially dangerous throat surgery in a desperate bid to end the severe bouts of tonsillitis that are threatening her career.
The X Factor champ has been advised by experts that the only solution to her recurrent throat infections may be to have her tonsils removed.
A source tells The Sun: “Leona has been consulting top throat surgeons in Britain and America.
“She has been told she could need an operation to put an end to the problem for good. Any operations are scary.
“But for a singer to have a throat op is particularly terrifying.”
Leona is on course for a US no.1 with her single Bleeding Love.
