Michelle Williams' Dad Questions Heath Ledger's Fortune

The father of Michelle Williams has cast doubt over the true worth of her ex-fiancée Heath Ledger’s fortune, urging his family to state the true value of the late actor’s estate.

The Brokeback Mountain star left all of his assets to parents Kim and Sally and older sister Kate in a will drawn up in April 2003, before he met Michelle and subsequently had a child with her.

Despite the Ledger family stating they will 'take care of' Michelle and Matilda, Larry Williams believes that Heath’s dad Kim is hiding other riches and doesn’t want him to cheat his daughter and granddaughter out of any money.

Speaking to Australia's The Sunday Telegraph, Larry says: "It's real simple: just come clean with everything. It's so easy to resolve this.

"He just has to say where the income went and where the assets are. I'm certain that there is grieving in the Ledger family but (lawyers for) Kim have already filed papers in New York, so it seems like it's time to be transparent about it.

“I have no idea what Heath Ledger was worth (but) they certainly haven't stated all of the assets to the court.''

Last week, the actor's uncles spoke out about the way Kim was handling his son's assets.

Heath Ledger suffered a fatal accidental overdose of prescription drugs in his New York apartment earlier this year.
