Just days after filming her part on an episode of How I Met Your Mother, Britney Spears is set to appear in another top show – South Park.

The controversial cartoon has previously featured stars such as Marilyn Manson and Tom Cruise, and now the pop wreck, albeit her likeness, can be added to the list.

In a news release, a spokesman for the show says: "Britney Spears is trying to get away from it all in the mountains near South Park when the boys have a run-in with her.

"Stan and Kyle get caught up in Britney's celebrity and the never-ending feeding frenzy that follows her wherever she goes."

Will Sam Lutfi and Adnan be appearing alongside her too? Let’s hope so! The episode airs in America tonight.
