Amy Winehouse's Scabby Face: Shocking New Pics

Amy Winehouse’s skin infection seems to be winning, judging by shocking new pictures of the troubled singer.

Despite heavy make-up, scaly patches were clearly visible on her face as she shopped for a sun bed yesterday.

According to her spokesperson, Amy is suffering from ‘impetigo,’ a bacterial infection that causes a scabby rash.

The red-raw scratches on her arms also raise fears about her current well-being.

When Amy was first spotted with a swollen face earlier this month, her rep insisted: “Amy has been diagnosed with impetigo which she’s been told can be highly contagious.

"Because of that she’s been put on antibiotics and may have to stay home alone for the next few days.”

We think it'll take more than a tan to cure Amy's current heath issues.
