Britney Spears has purchased a one-of-a-kind plush toy elephant as a gift for her pregnant sister Jamie Lynn.

According to reports, the six-foot custom-made elephant was ordered as part of a $30,000 (£15,000) nursery gift her the pop wreck’s younger sibling.

The Toxic singer has allegedly commissioned the owners of exclusive baby boutique Petit Tresor to design an ocean-themed nursery for Jamie Lynn who is currently residing in her home town of Kentwood, Louisiana.

An insider says, "It is going to have organic bedding and baby blankets... Britney's sparing no expense.

"She also ordered a custom made, six-foot tall elephant with a blue bow which she wants to sit in the middle of the nursery."

Jamie Lynn confirmed she was pregnant with boyfriend Casey Aldridge's baby in December.
