Sienna Miller has accused the English of 'raping and pillaging' the Welsh, according to a new report.

The New York-born actress launched the attack on her adopted country as she prepares to move to the Valleys with her Welsh fiancé, Rhys Ifans.

Sienna is quoted by the Daily Mail as telling pals: "I love Wales.

"I think it is the most beautiful country in the world and the people were just gracious and lovely considering they have been raped and pillaged by the English for so long."

Sienna and Rhys are said to be looking for a cottage in Snowdonia, a couple of hours drive from the actor’s home town of Ruthin.
