Brad Pitt supposedly admitted that his marriage to Jennifer Aniston was in trouble after just six weeks.

The Hollywood heartthrob, who spent five years as the Friends actress’s husband, made the confession about his marital trouble to London-born comedian Omid Djalili.

Omid told the Daily Express: "I did a scene with him in the back of a taxi for a movie called Spy Game and it was only a few days after he had married Jennifer.

"I chatted for hours giving him advice about the three stages of marriage. Stage one is perfection/blind love.

"Stage two is the difficult stage because you will start to despise everything about her. But then if you can deal with that baggage you can possibly get to stage three - accept the baggage and move into a harmonious marriage.

"He said: 'Thanks Omid, I love that you have given me a framework for my marriage.'

"After six weeks he came up to me and said: 'I'm definitely in stage two, Omid!' I probably made it go up in flames!"

The 42-year-old rising BBC star also admits he avoided offering advice to Brad’s new flame Angelina Jolie when he met her on the set of the movie Sky Captain And The World Of Tomorrow.

He said: "I'd already messed up one Brad Pitt marriage."
