Ashlee Simpson: 'I Was Never Unhappy With My Looks

Singer is still playing down the nose job...

Thursday 13th Mar 2008

Ashlee Simpson is still insisting that she was content with her looks prior to having her nose remodeled.

The singer – who had her snout shaved in April 2006 - downplays her transformation in a new interview.

She tells Us: "I was never really unhappy with how I looked, [and] I don't think I am more beautiful than I was [before].

"I just see the same old goofy girl I see every day."

She does, however, have a message for any young fans who may be considering following her down the plastic surgery route to beauty.

"[Plastic surgery] is something that everybody should think about for a really long time," she tells Us.

"Once you know it's something you really feel comfortable with, then to each their own."
