Catherina Zeta Jones Urged To 'Speak Properly'

The children of Catherine Zeta Jones are frustrated with hearing the many accents of their mother that they beg her to speak normally.

The Welsh actress - who has two children with husband Michael Douglas, seven-year old Dylan and four-year old Carys - revealed that her youngsters plead with her to speak using her normal voice.

The Press Association reports Catherine as saying: "I think just having an accent just as an actor you always have to do different accents so your ear is always turned on.

"My kids - I was reading books to them, practising my Scottish accent and they were going, 'Mama just speak the way you speak ', they were so sick of me going, 'Right then children, so once upon a time' - 'Oh mama please speak properly'. "
