Britney Spears: Pretty In Pink?

Britney Spears appeared unusually fresh-faced as she left an L.A. restaurant last night.

The troubled singer was looking healthy – if not happy - as she was papped getting into her car following a meal at SHU in Beverly Glenn.

We think she may even have put a brush through her unruly weave.

Ironically – given that Brit has gleefully flashed her knickers for the cameras a couple of days earlier – she seemed reluctant to show off her new look to the rest of the world.

During a rare attack of camera-shyness, the pop star attempted to shield her face from the flashbulbs, before assuming a bizarre prayer stance.

Will the new, improved Britney last - or did we just catch her off-guard?
