The creator of Girls Gone Wild, Joe Francis, has been bailed from a jail in Nevada, but he’s going straight to Florida to appear in court against allegations that he videotaped two underaged girls performing a sexual act.
The 34-year old has been behind bars for the past 12 months on federal tax evasion charges and has had to spend $1.5 million (£750,000) to secure release from his cell in Reno.
However, he must appear back in a Reno court in August when he faces a maximum fine of $500,000 ($250,000) and a 10-year prison sentence if convicted.
Francis is due to appear in court in Panama City tomorrow to face charges from the 2003 Girls Gone Wild filming of the two girls on Spring Break vacation.
His defence team claim that the teens lied about their age to an independent cameraman and that their footage was never used.
