Jordan, these days better known as Katie Price, has hit out at the size zero culture, and believes that women should be happy no matter how big or small they are.

Having launched her Katie Price Lingerie range by Panache for “ordinary women of all shapes and sizes”, the glamour model used a selection of different women, from petite to plus sized to highlight the fact that everyone should be embraced, no matter their girth.

The Sun reports her as saying: “Fashion modelling is totally different from glamour modelling. They’re all about being skinny while we’re all about celebrating our curves.

“I launched my underwear range on Wednesday and I just got a bunch of normal-sized women to model it.

“Other celebrities have stick-thin girls modelling their underwear but I don’t think that’s right. Good underwear has to fit every shape and size.

She goes on to say that the super-skinny trend is not something women should aspire to: “I don’t disagree with the size zero culture. I’m thin and Victoria Beckham — a size zero — looks great, and I believe her frame is naturally like that.

“I just believe that whatever size you are, you can be sexy and you should embrace it.”
