James Haven has cited the reason that his sister Angelina Jolie didn’t go to a pre-Oscars party was to spare the feelings of love rival Jennifer Aniston.
The Friends actress, who was married to Angelina’s current beau Brad Pitt, attended the Academy Awards Friday night event but a dramatic face-off between the two ladies did not occur as the Tomb Raider actress opted to attend the Film Independent Spirit Awards Instead.
James Haven has claimed that his sibling Angelina did not want to upset Jennifer and that is why she stayed clear of the event and any possible clash.
He tells Grazia: "Angie is an incredibly strong but also incredibly sensitive woman, and she would always be careful when another woman's feelings are concerned.
"She'd go out of her way to make sure there was no situation that would hurt another woman because of her, and I'm talking about a situation like one of Brad's ex-partners or his ex-wife."
