Sit down and relax - it looks as though the Cheryl Cole vs. Lily Allen feud could well be over.
Speaking on her dismal TV Show ‘Lily Allen & Friends’, Allen admitted that she feels sorry for Cheryl after her husband Ashley had an affair. She also said that she only hated Cheryl because she was so beautiful.
Allen blathered: “A couple of years ago if I had read the stuff about Cheryl Cole, about her and Ashley, I’d probably have had a little laugh to myself, but now I actually feel really sorry for her.
“She's beautiful. That's why I hated her so much. I've seen her in real life but I haven’t spoken to her because she’d probably punch me.”
The feud came to a head last year with Allen brandishing Cole a “knobhead”, while Cheryl called Lily “a chick with a dick.” Ouch.
It reached such depths that celebrities such as Kaiser Chief's Ricky Wilson, The Gossip's Beth Ditto and TV chef Gordon Ramsey joined in denouncing Cole.
