Organisers of the opening of Fendi’s new flagship Paris store may be regretting stumping up £500K for Amy Winehouse to perform at the event.

According to witnesses, the posh affair descened into a mini-riot as fans tried to get close to the singer during her 40-minute set.

A source at Paris Fashion Week tells The Sun: “It was a complete fiasco.

“It got nasty and people were breaking bottles. Organisers had to lock the crowd in without any drinks while she performed.”

The Rehab singer reportedly admitted to guests including Kanye West, Rihanna and the Olsen twins that the painful swelling on her face is "so big I can see it out of my eye."
