Amy Winehouse has caused a media furore after being pictured with a bump on her face.

The singer was pictured with swelling and discoloration around her left cheek as she moved into a new London home, with her spokesperson explaining the 24-year-old is suffering from impetigo.

But the News Of The World aren’t happy with such excuses, with top medical opinion from Dr Hilary Jones that “a skin complaint wouldn’t cause swelling”.

He damningly adds, “It could be she's walked into a door or fallen over - which is very likely with her drug habit."

The five times winning Grammy artist has been dogged by reports in the last couple of days that she returned to drug use as soon as she quit a stint in rehab last month.
