Two doctors have been cleared of any wrong-doing over the death last month of actor Heath Ledger.
The U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency interviewed the doctors – from California and Texas - this week about prescriptions found in the Brokeback Mountain star’s New York apartment.
According to the New York Post, investigators have determined that – whilst the doctors did prescribe medications to Heath - they did not prescribe the two most powerful drugs, Oxycontin and Vicodin.
The actor was died on January 22 from an accidental overdose of prescription drugs.
As well as Oxycodone and Vicodin, autopsy results revealed that Diazepam, Temazepam, Alprazolam and Doxylamine were also present in Heath's system at the time of death.
