Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem may rarely be seen together in public but things are said to being getting serious away from the public gaze.

Javier – who took home the Best Supporting Actor gong at this year’s Oscars – recently showed Penny off to his family, who flew in from Spain for the awards ceremony.

After Javier’s win, his folks partied with the couple at Hollywood nightspot, Villa.

An onlooker tells PageSix.com: "He took Penelope for a spin on the dance floor in front of all his family. It's getting pretty serious."
