Amy Winehouse will not face any police charges in connection with her husband’s alleged attempt to pervert the course of justice.
Winehouse was questioned last December in connection with the case but is no longer of any interest, police officials have said.
The singer's husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, denied conspiracy to pervert the course of justice during an appearance at Snaresbrook Crown Court in London today (February 29th).
Fielder-Civil has already pleaded not guilty to a charge of inflicting Grievous Bodily Harm on a pub landlord.
Both charges relate to an alleged fight outside The Macbeth pub in Hoxton, London in June 2006.
Fielder-Civil has been remanded in custody until April. Winehouse was not in court for the hearing today due to personal commitments in France.
