Two doctors, one in California and another in Texas, are being investigated by federal drug authorities over the death of Heath Ledger.

The 28-year old Australian actor was found dead in his New York apartment last month due to an accidental, but lethal cocktail of prescription drugs.

A source reveals to People: “We are investigating doctors in Los Angeles and Texas with regard to Ledger’s prescriptions.”

When asked if the doctors had done anything wrong, the source answered: “We don’t know yet. The agents were there this week, and we are waiting to hear from them.”

  • BLACKDOG INSTITUTE AUSTRALIA. Heath was an aussie boy. The man that wrote blackdog had phycological problems. Heath was being guided to the blackdog institute australia, they work in that area for people. They would have known that Heath should not be taking the medications he was on together and given him some support. Stop blaming people cause people don't take the time to educate themselves in the universal ways. It was time for Heath to come home, just not the way he did.

  • In Jan yr I walked away from the pain specialist I had been seeing approx. 6 yrs. I have multiple conditions that require a good deal of medical advice. Advice that I was NOT receiving from my Dr. I was on approx 15 medications. All along, any time I saw another Dr. for anything they were shocked.Also in 5 yrs there had never been drug testing in office-all of a sudden, this last yr we were tested 4 times-How do you know if your Dr. is under investigation?
