Nicole Richie Introduces Baby Harlow Winter

A U.S. magazine has the first pictures of Nicole Richie and her six-week-old baby girl.

New mom Nicole appears on the cover of the latest issue of People holding little Harlow Winter, who was welcomed into the world on January 11.

We also find out how parenthood has changed the lives of Nicole and her rocker fiancé Joel Madden.

"It's almost like I don't even remember what life was like before her. She gives life a whole new meaning and a whole new purpose,” says Nicole.

She sounds less keen on breastfeeding, however: "I eat really bland [food] – chicken noodle soup, vegetables, fish. I had to cut out milk, no tomatoes, no lettuce.

"You think you have to cut everything out when you're pregnant, but you really have to cut everything out when you're breastfeeding."

Nicole’s camp will no doubt be hoping that her baby cover fairs better than Christina Aguilera’s recent under-performing effort.
