Pink’s rocky relationship to motorcross racer Carey Hart ended last week, although people close to the singer have claimed she tried desperately to try and salvage her marriage, but to no avail.

In Touch Weekly spoke to many sources close to the couple, starting with one who spoke of a luxury getaway at a $3,000-a-night romantic retreat the singer was planning to take her husband to.

The insider says: “She recently booked a seven-day vacation at The Kahala Hotel & Resort in Honolulu for the week of February 28. She asked for their most romantic beachfront suite.”

However Pink, real name Alicia Moore, canceled the getaway break. “Pink’s second honeymoon trip could have turned into her heartbreak holiday,” the friend reveals.

A dancer on the singer’s 2007 summer tour also suggested that Pink “seemed very unhappy while on the road because she was just so fed up with her marriage.”

Another source added: “They started talking divorce within a few months of their wedding and then they surprised everyone by deciding to work it out instead. But their split surprised no one.”
