It seems that Sharon Stone cannot last a day without wearing some sort of dead animal, be it fur, or a broach made from a rat’s paw which was her choice of accessory to Sir Elton John’s post-Oscars party on Sunday night (24/02/08). Animal rights campaigners PETA have been left fuming.

The Basic Instinct star wore the ‘lucky’ charm after finding out it was an item that Scotsmen wore on their wedding day.

Perhaps she was planning on getting hitched that day. Although she’s not a Scottish man, unless she’s hiding something from us.

In a scathing attack on Stone for her fashion attire, PETA campaigners said: Maybe Sharon, passed over by the Academy yet again, was jealous of Ratatouille's Oscar win and thought a rodent paw might go with her haggard look.

"Her accessories these days are as dead as her career." Perhaps she could get a role as Cruella De Ville.
