TV legend Bruce Forsyth is to finally get a knighthood in the Queen’s Birthday honours list.
The Strictly Come Dancing host was widely tipped to get the gong in the New Year’s Honours, but palace officials decided to delay until Brucie turned 80 this week.
Celebrations of his 60 years in showbiz are already underway – with a 90 minute BBC special tonight - and will now be topped off by one of the ultimate tributes from the Queen.
A source tells The People, “This has been around since the end of last year. So there shouldn't be any problems."
